No.1 2023/24 - Management Changes

The Managers are pleased to announce that Tony Paulson has been appointed as Head of Asia and will relocate to Singapore in mid-summer 2023.

This new role is intended to provide further strategic support for West’s Singapore and Hong Kong offices in delivering service to our Members in an extremely important region for the Club.

Tony will continue to perform some parts of his existing Corporate Director role alongside his new position in Asia, including Board responsibility for Marketing and ESG.

Also, after 30 years of service as a Director, Richard Macnamara will be standing down from the Management Board following the forthcoming Luxembourg Board meeting in Houston. We are pleased to advise that he will however remain as the CEO of the Hong Kong office and continue to perform his existing underwriting and management duties.

Both Richard and Malcolm Pedley as CEO of the Singapore office will report to Tony in his Head of Asia role.
