WEST OF ENGLAND (HELLAS)

Following a review of the services provided by the Club’s three offices, we are pleased to announce that David Comyns has been appointed as CEO of the Club’s office in Greece.  He will join Anna Kountouriotou on the Board of West of England (Hellas) and will be based in Piraeus with effect from May this year.

Together with our team in Piraeus, David will broaden and strengthen our claims handling, loss prevention and advisory services for the Membership in Greece.  His role will also be to maintain and develop the Club’s business in Greece working with the Underwriting Department and, in particular, Tom Bowsher, who will retain underwriting responsibilities from London.

David joined the West of England in 1997, and has worked in the London office for 13 years, most recently as Deputy Director of the Claims’ Department with extensive experience in both P&I and FD&D claims.
