APPOINTMENT OF GENERAL MANAGER AND COMPANY SECRETARY AND RETIREMENT OF PHILIP ASPDEN

I am pleased to announce that Carolina Lockwood has been appointed General Manager and Company Secretary of the Association in succession to Philip Aspden with effect from 20 February this year.

Carolina has over twenty years experience in Luxembourg with a leading firm of accountants and as an insurance company director with particular experience in investment.

Philip will be handing over his responsibilities within the West of England group to Carolina within the coming months before retiring later this year after thirty one years’ service, twenty five of which have been as General Manager.  I take this opportunity on behalf of the Directors and the Managers to thank him for his invaluable contribution to the West of England over this time during which he has served with great dedication and distinction.
