S&P Reaffirms West’s A- Rating

S&P have reaffirmed the Club’s interactive rating as A-, but takes firm action across the International Group with virtually all IG Clubs placed on negative outlook.

We are pleased to report that following their latest interactive review S&P have upheld the West’s A- rating. They have however also placed virtually all IG Clubs on negative outlook basis, reflecting their view that the whole industry must act now to address the technical underwriting performance or face rating action.

West remains committed to addressing the situation with the firm and decisive action at the forthcoming renewal we outlined recently.
