USA - New Executive Order on Immigration

Further to the Club’s news articles of 31 January and 13 February 2017, President Trump has recently signed a further Executive Order placing prohibition on the entry of citizens from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen into the US, though subject to certain provisos. Iraq is no longer included in the list.

Our US attorneys Freehill Hogan & Mahar have again produced a helpful Client Guide which sets out the provisions of the new Executive Order including the potential impact on Members with ships trading to the US which carry crew from the affected countries.
