Extraordinary General Meeting held on 2 February 2005

We confirm that the Extraordinary General Meeting of Class 1 Members was duly held on Wednesday, 2 February 2005, as follows:

Alterations to the Association’s Class 1 Rules

The Resolution to adopt the proposed alterations to the Class 1 Rules, as set out in the Notice to Class 1 Members No. 11 dated January 2005(*) was passed unanimously.

With one exception: that, in Rule 14 paragraph 2 Liability Excluded for War Risks, the references to a limit of US$400 million be replaced by a limit of US$500 million and that, in the case of Charterers entries insured under Rule 3A , that limit would be in excess of the limit provided for in Rule 3A(6).

The alterations will take effect from noon GMT on 20 February 2005.
