A qualified lawyer, Emily has significant P&I and Defence experience across all areas of claims. She joined the West from another International Group Club as a Syndicate Manager and, prior to that, worked both in-house with a UK shipowner and within a City law firm. Ms McCulloch advises on disputes under charterparties and Contracts of Affreightment including off-hire, underperformance claims and recovering disputed/undisputed demurrage on behalf of Members. Her expertise also includes handling P&I and DTH claims from notification to resolution, such as bunker disputes, contact damage, cargo claims and personal injury.
