Alex qualified as an English Solicitor in 2017 and is also a registered qualified Lawyer at the Brazilian Bar association. He joined West from a shipowner where he worked as a legal counsel. He previously worked in a commodities trader advising on the shipping and physical trade division of the business.

He has experience in handling both “dry” and “wet” cargo loss claims, disputes under charter parties, bills of lading, ship sale forms and ship building contracts.
